USMMA Martial Arts and Yoga is pleased to announce it successfully raised $6,000 at its annual golf tournament, held this year at New England Country Club. More than 80 players participated in the tournament, which dedicated all net proceeds to the Franklin Food Pantry.

Thanks to the generosity of participants and the outstanding support of Paul Mastroianni, whose donation helped push the event past its goal of $5,000, USMMA Martial Arts and Yoga is proud to contribute $6,000 to help provide vital food assistance to the Franklin community.

“We are so grateful for the support of our community and all of the participants at the annual golf tournament,” said Tom Hafers, owner of USMMA Martial Arts and Yoga. “This tournament is about bringing people together for a fun day, while giving back. Partnering with the Franklin Food Pantry ensures our efforts directly benefit our neighbors.”

“It’s an honor to support Tom and Danielle and the Franklin Food Pantry,” said Paul Mastroianni. “The Pantry helps so many people every single day, and it’s inspiring to see the impact. We are proud to be part of this event each year and are already looking forward to 2026.”

The Franklin Food Pantry provides services and programs to more than 1,800 people annually and has recently expanded its services to meet rising demand. The $6,000 donation will help The Pantry provide food and personal care items to the Franklin community, particularly during the busy holiday season.

“Thank you to USMMA Martial Arts and Yoga for their incredible donation and support,” said Tina Powderly, Executive Director of the Franklin Food Pantry. “Their dedication to fighting food insecurity, along with the generosity of everyone who participated in their golf tournament, will make a tangible difference in the lives of our neighbors.”
